Tarte aux Pommes

My Baking Project #4: My second attempt at baking something with apples. Almonds, one egg, olive oil and vanila extract were added to the dry ingredients (salt, corn and organic flour) for the crust. The batter was half made yesterday when I was making some trial biscuits. I added an egg and vanilla extract today and kept in the fridge for an hour. Two sliced apples have been sitting in sugar and lemon juice for an hour while i was at yoga.
The result could have been better if I had an oven to fully bake the inner part of the crust. But the crust was overall crumbly since the batter was primarily for biscuits.
Oh, but LOVE the crispy and juicy texture of apples!
